A QR code (Quick-Response code) is a barcode that can be used by anyone with a camera on their smartphone to direct the user to a specified website, file, images etc.
Most QR Code generation websites will allow you to export a QR code as a jpeg, png or pdf file.
QR Codes can be added to both workflows and process map instructions. Some examples/ideas of use are:
Having a QR code added to the instructions page of your workflow to link users to some additional information they can access etc. A QR code image can be copied and pasted into the instructions box (please note if the image if to large you can also screenshot the QR code and resize the image)
Having a QR code added to the email template that you send when a workflow is in progress or completed
Please note that the QR code used in this article is a dummy QR code, and not intended for proper use.
