What You Need Before You Begin
SOPs must be enabled in your Flowingly account
(Don’t see the SOP section or green button? Talk to your admin or ping Flowingly Support.)SOP browser extension installed
(Available on Chrome and Edge - you may need IT support if your org blocks extensions.)Browser permissions granted to capture your screen/actions
Step-by-Step: Record Your First SOP
Look for the green "Record SOP" button
It floats in the top-right corner of Flowingly - and yes, it works from any screen.Click the button to start
A small pop-up will ask for the SOP title. Use descriptive “doing” words so it’s searchable later.
e.g. “Add a thank-you task in Microsoft Planner”Hit “Begin Record”
The extension will quietly start capturing everything: your clicks, navigation, and screen.Perform the task like you normally would
Just go about your process - no need to prep or write notes. Flowingly captures it all as you work.Click “Stop” when you’re done
That’s it! Your SOP is automatically built for you.
