Written by Will Dowden

Introduction

Add Stakeholders to your Process Maps and Workflows based on the RACI framework.

This includes:

  • Responsible - Who performs the work

  • Accountable - Who is ultimately answerable

  • Consulted - Who provides input before the work

  • Informed - Who is kept up-to-date on progress

Prerequisites

Any users with access to edit a process map or workflow has the ability to add and edit the Stakeholder list. By default, this includes:

  • Business Administrator

  • Flow Model Administrator

  • Flow Model Editor

Instructions

Add & Edit Stakeholders

To manage Stakeholders on a Flow Model, navigate to the Library and edit a Process Map or Workflow.

Once in the modeler, navigate to the Stakeholders tab.

Use the "Add or Remove" button located under each section to manage the Users or Teams assigned to the different RACI options

Select individual Users, Team, or a mixture of both to assign them to a specific section. Click done to confirm your selections.

Once selected, the Flow Model must be published for the changes to be applied to the live version.

Notifications

All users and teams assigned as a RACI stakeholders are notified in-app each time the process is published. For Teams, any pre-existing settings for notifications will be applied (i.e. notifications sent to individual/team email).

Tips & Best Practices

We recommend using teams to assign stakeholders to the different RACI sections where possible to prevent additional administration of the Stakeholders section over time.
