Process maps provide a graphical representation of a process or procedure, and are available for users to easily view and see the details. They can share the same design and appearance as a Flow, however they are for reference purposes and are not executable.

When you first log into Flowingly you will land at the Start page. To view the Process Maps published to you, click the Maps tab in Flowingly.

Navigate to the specific category or sub-category to find a process map.

Clicking on the desired Process Map will display the steps and details of the selected process.

If needed, you can move the Map around the screen by clicking and dragging the map around your screen to see different parts in detail. Scrolling in and out by using the zoom slider in the bottom left corner can make the view larger or smaller, CTRL+Scroll can be used as an alternative.

Step Details

Clicking on any Step in the diagram will show the information contained within the Step Details and the Step Form.

Expand the Step Form and Step Details tab by dragging the slider to the left.

Process Details

The Process Details tab provides the following options to provide further information that help define the process:

  • Category

  • Description

  • Objective

  • Background

  • Process Owner

  • Process Input

  • Process Output

  • Process Review Date

Workflow users can also use the "View Flow Model" button to view the process in a new tab.

If you are assigned as the Process Owner or have been assigned the role of Flow Model or Business Administrator, the View Flow Model button will be replaced with Edit Flow Model. Clicking on this will open the map for editing. Please see our guide on Creating a Process Map for more details.

Gather Feedback

The Feedback tabs allows users to submit comments, questions and discussion points about the process. Type "@" followed by a user or teams name to notify users and add images or other files using the "Attach File" option.

Share a Process

If you want to share your processes with colleagues click on the green "Share" button to generate a link that will provide direct access to the process map so long as they have been added as a user.
